Project Title: INNOVATIVE SYSTEMS TO IMPLEMENT A CIRCULAR MODEL IN TIRE PRODUCTION BY RECYCLING END-OF-LIFE TIRES AND PRODUCTION SCRAPS

The complex system of technological engineering and realisation competences which propelled the core advancement of the Project, had driven the Action B.3 toward a new step. The realisation and integration of the Full-scale Rework demonstrator at the premises of a main tire-manufacturing plant led to the necessity of improving the existing layout to maximize the reachable environmental impact. In order to deploy the setup, the Rework line of Implementation Action B.3 needs a final complement that involves the introduction of an industry-grade machine part to be realised as new.
This addendum I° to the General Procurement Notice covers the supply for which it is required to proceed with an international open tender:
The specific Procurement Notice for realisation contract of the abovementioned machinery is published as official Contract Notices on the Supplement to the Official Journal of the EU (https://ted.europa.eu/) and C.A.’s dedicated section website (http://www.electronicsystems.it/eu-life-project/open-tender).
The scope of procurement falls under the state of urgency which renders impracticable the time limit laid down in the second subparagraph of paragraph 1 of Directive 2014/24/EU, the time limit is fixed in 15 days from the date on which the contract notice is published and available on TED portal, i.e. 29/11/2024.
Interested eligible bidder who wish to be included in the tendering procedure shall check carefully the Specific Procurement Notices to self-assess the compatibility with the required services, prepare the proposal and send it through the “Submission” contact form (website page: https://www.electronicsystems.it/life-tire2tirecycle/open-tender/SUBMISSION) or via e-mail at the address below.
The proposal shall be drafted in English and submitted in electronic form only; electronic invoicing is required.

Electronic Systems S.p.A., a private SME established in Momo-Italy, and the European Commission (through its executive agency EASME, at the award of the grant, currently CINEA) have agreed to implement the project entitled “Innovative systems to implement a circular model in tire production by recycling end-of-life tires and production scraps”, within the EU financing instrument: LIFE Programme.
Procurement of goods and services within the Project will be conducted according the General and Special Conditions of the Agreement between Electronic Systems Spa and the European Commission. Electronic Systems S.p.A. acting as Coordinating Beneficiary is the entity responsible for procurement of goods and services, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this credit to payment for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this Project.
The Project constitutes a complex system of technological development, engineering, realisation and follow-up. In particular, it includes three main implementation actions is which is foreseen the realisation of industry-grade machines and related subsystems.
The General Procurement Notice covers the goods for which it is required to proceed with an international open tender, in conformity with the current status of Project advancement.
The implementation action B3 will include the realisation of the following prototypes:
- Mix-extruder
- Components for the gear pump and screw feeder
- Batch-off system
- Components for the auxiliary systems
The implementation action B1 will include the realisation of the following prototypes:
- Banbury mixer
